Imperial College Faculty Building, London
Integrated Service Modules (ISMs) from SAS were specified for this new Foster + Partners Faculty Building. Incorporating passive chilled beams, the ISMs leave the concrete soffit exposed allowing the thermal mass of the building to be unlocked. The ISMs also incorporated up and down lighting, acoustic absorption pads, smoke detectors and fire alarms.
