The new £19 million south east pier terminal extension was designed by Bryden Wood & Associates. The pier provides six new boarding gates, additional lounge facilities, retail space and extra office accommodation. SAS International supplied and installed a flat System 600 lighting raft with PIR sensors. The lighting raft was designed in modules and supplied in lengths of 1500mm, with apertures for lighting, speakers and sprinklers pre-formed during manufacturing, reducing installation cost and on site wastage.
