Commissionaires of Irish Lights, Dublin
At the Commissioners of Irish Lights (CIL) headquarters System 600 acoustic lighting rafts were specified throughout the circular three-storey building. Designed by architects Scott Tallon Walker, the ceiling is as a feature in its own right. The building incorporates the latest sustainable design technologies; the ceiling rafts have been installed in rectangular coffers within the exposed concrete soffit, allowing the thermal mass of the building to be exploited.
