Bespoke and veneered doors

SAS International, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of metal ceilings, room comfort and architectural metalwork systems, now offers a comprehensive bespoke door manufacturing service.
Manufactured in SAS International’s 40,000 square foot dedicated door factory in Oldbury, West Midlands, SAS are now able to offer an extensive range of fully finished bespoke doors. Doors can be specified and manufactured in sizes and finishes specific to individual project requirements.
SAS holds over 12,000 doors and door blanks in stock enabling them to manufacture doors up to 3000mm x 1200mm. Bespoke doors are fully finished with a three coat Ultra Violet stable clear lacquer, which is applied during the manufacturing process, that enhances the natural features of the veneer.
In addition to meeting DDA, approved Document M and fire standards, the bespoke service also allows the specifier to choose from a variety of upgrades and enhancements including:
Through SAS International’s bespoke manufacturing service, a comprehensive range of natural wood veneers are available for specification. SAS veneers are produced using innovative slicing methods that enable specifiers greater flexibility in the selection of veneer species, the veneer cuts and the assembly of the lay-on.
All of SAS International’s doors are also available for specification with a number of other key considerations in mind; these include acoustic performance and 60 minute fire resistance. The range of SAS Doors can be customised from three days with fully bespoke doors manufactured in two to three weeks subject to specification.
As part of SAS International’s commitment to be environmentally responsible, all of their wood-based products are made from timber which is supplied from sources that comply with either the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) chain of custody, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) or any other source that complies with the FSC standard for Non FSC-Certified Controlled wood. SAS holds both FSC and PEFC certification and are able to provide full chain of custody upon request. All of SAS International’s CPLs are also FSC approved.
