This prefabricated Modular BedPod works for hospitals and patients. Hospitals get a rapid, low-cost way to reconfigure space without the upheaval and expense of refurbishment, which shuts down wards and ties up valuable space for up to several months. Patients get a personal space where a curtain controlled from the bed lets them decide how much privacy they want and when the lights go out at night. A specially shaped ceiling evens stops voices carrying.
